Psych DBQ help

Just got my Mental Health DBQ posted to patient portal. I feel like I was completely screwed over as most of what I said was disregarded on the DBQ instead the examiner copied and pasted information from a psych appointment I had back in June 2024, despite going weekly for almost 3-4 years now… she could’ve atleast provided up to date and relevant information from my last psych appointment. She also checked box 3a as mild symptoms.

My question is, mental health is not a referred condition for me but I would like it to be added. What can I do to go about getting a more accurate DBQ explaining the actual severity of my 8 mental health conditions?

I believe you have to wait until you’re out to do an appeal since it’s not your referred condition.

Also, how long did it take to get your DBQ uploaded?
I’m going on nearly a month since my exam and nothing.

My lawyer told me not to do an addendum but to do an IMR. Idk if anyone can speak on that? Not sure if that sounds right?

And it took 3 weeks. My appointment was on March 5th.

If you get a private MH provider to complete a DBQ, you can submit that DBQ to your current claim. See this link. The upside is that if your MH rating is high enough you can argue that it should be found unfitting. The downside is you have to pay for the private MH provider to complete a DBQ.

Thank you sir. Luckily I already see a civilian psychologist and psychiatrist, so hopefully they will be willing to do a DBQ for me.
