I have a quick question and will appreciate any info that is given. My husband has requested PLMD until 31 July 09 so my question is based on that date being approved. Ok, he will be on terminal leave until 31 July, so will our last active duty paycheck be 15 July or 1 Aug? Also, how soon after his EAS will his retirement kick in? Will it be as soon as August or September or longer? I am a planner and want to make sure we have enough money in our savings to cover no pays. We know his VA will take 3+ months once he files with his DD214. Thanks so much.

1 Aug paycheck will be for work performed ("activedutyness"/Terminal Leave/Etc...) from 1-31 July 2009.

30-45 day freeze on last paycheck for audit.

After that retirement should kick in.

As for VA, who knows...
