Hello,

I'm waiting for my unfit to come back from the PEB and my DA 199 to be sent up to VA Rating. My question is I'm getting out for my back due to my MRI of Degenerative disc disease, but seen my DBQ states that I have PTSD from combat during my time, do you think my DOD rating will take the PTSD into consideration?

It depends on the percentage. Rarely is a 30% MH rating found unfitting.

Looking at my DBQ and all the things they marked off it looks like it should be 50% to 70% but I'm only looking at what the VA rates BH on the DBQ. I see some people get between a 20 to 40% for DDD. It's going to be interesting to see what they rate both my back and PTSD.

Bro I’m exactly the same boat MEB said “ptsd, ddd and bilateral radiculopathy” were “does not meet retention standards”. On pins and needles. My VA IDES claim in the the “pending notification” so just waiting to see percentages.

Even if the percentages are good…the PEB can comeback with some crazy decisions let’s see
