I don't understand why some people are taking so much longer then others. I know we have different raters, but my unfit came in almost a month after, and I am already done. Really disappointing there is such a gap. Did you do anything that would have slowed the process down?
 
Your timeline looks a lot better then mine. I was referred to MEB 6 Jun and my unfit memo was 25 Jul. I am now over 130 days at VA. I have done nothing to slow the process down so maybe my rater is out sick.
 
OK, OK. Yesterday's weird info on the IDES Dashboard was weird. Today, I have a green checkmark at the end of the PEB line. Any thoughts, anyone?

Yes he will get DOD pay until his VA ratings are finalized which can take up to 5 months post retirement, once VA kicks in DOD will stop (if VA is higher)

Called my DAV rep in Seattle and he gave me information on my case. On the 29th it went to preparing for decision, today it was opened by a rater or went to raters desk. He said they have a note to have it complete by the 29th of Dec which is plus or minus 5-10 business days. Hoping he means complete as a whole not complete with just percentages. He gave me awesome information on how the avg rater has 45-60 cases on their desk. A big factor is where I am at in the pile and he said I will probably be at the back. I hope this is not true being that I have been at the VA for ratings for 4 months. Seeing that people have for there percentages back already that we're after me gives me hope. He said they start to take leave around the 15-18 and little happens at the VA till the 2nd. Unless ebenefits changes or I get a call from my peblo my next hard time is calling my DAV rep on the 15th.
 
After 98 days ebenefits moved to prep for decision! Hoping it's smooth sailing from here!!

Don't mind at all, the medical evaluation board was finished on 29 July.

Thanks for the quick response!! Mine was completed on 25 June and hasn't moved past Review of Evidence. It seems that everyone that I have talked with can give me no information concerning my case. The VA 800 number acts like I am asking them to walk on water or something. I think they were telemarketers in their past life because they read the same response everytime.

Oh well, hopefully this will get settle soon enough but so far its been a long 18 months!

18 months!! I would put in a congestional inquiry if you haven't yet. I am on month 7 so far.
 
All,

Wondering if there is anyone out there that would like to share their timelines for those that have elected to go thru a Formal PEB, IE: VAR timeline for those going thru seattle VA. My formal PEB was 31MAY13 (186 days ago) and I've been waiting patiently since then to find out the results for my approved VAR. I have been enrolled in this whole process for 434 days now. I'm starting to lose hope and may just ask to end it early in order to move on with my life.

I was JUST going to ask this!!! Literally, I was just googling how long it takes for a VA rater to rate a case file. My Ebenefits has been on "preparing for a decision" since 22 Nov, and they tell me it could be any day now when it will change to "Pending Approval" with the VA ratings in my profile. 22 Nov until now is only like 10 days, but as soon as I saw the change in status I've been on Ebenefits about 4-5 times a day.

Does anyone elses dashboard say Days remaining 0. Unknown, but the days ahead of schedule change daily, but nothing else?

VA is done with my proposed ratings since 14 Nov. My unfit memo was 5 Aug.

MAKE SURE YOU CHECK YOUR IDES DASHBOARD AGAIN TOMORROW.

Same thing yesterday, zeros and n/a's for me. Today, I got my green checkmark at the end of the PEB line, noticed it about 1030. I emailed my PEBLO and asked him to check my stats. About an hour later he emailed back saying that there was nothing new or changed with the PEB wait. So I said to myself, I said "self, something is going on here." Sure enough, about 1500 my phone went off and "PEBLO" was on the screen. He asked me if I could hear his printer...
He always told me that when my ratings came in, he'd be calling me and I'd be able to hear the printer in the background.

Grain of salt here...you know that new dashboard can be tricky! It is what it is; the PEBLO's call is what seals it and nothing else. Don't get ahead of yourself.
