So not to burst anyone's bubble but it seems to me that the va is not the only ones back logged in the amount of cases being dealt with. Just found out my varr was completed by the va back in October and has been sitting at the PEB for final approval since then. Peblo thought it would be returned to her for signatures last month but it hasnt. No idea as to when the PEB will do a final review but was told that their cases are tacking quite a while even after the va ratings were complete.

You have at least a month yet if not longer they are working on July cases right now and my unfit date was the 25th and I am waiting in the prep for decision since oct 17th. If what the VA told me on Friday is true 52 day average for prep decision phase then tomorrow I should move to next phase on ebenefits. I'm 135 days at the rating phase. Hope this helps.
Exactly. I'm sure they "attempt" to do these all in some kind of order, but that's obviously not how it plays out.
im currently in the va rating phase at 94 days anyone have a idea of when to expect ratings also i was demoted during rating to e-4 will i still get paid as e-5 if i am medically retired?
Timeline for what? What phase are you in? Who are "they" and your overall MEB started on 1 August or your rating started on that day? Have you been to ebenefits.va.gov? Have you been online to check your IDES dashboard?
Ratings are going anywhere from 100 to 160 days. Some longer. Pretty sure you will stay an E-4.
My case started Aug 1st ive been at va since october 30 been on eben its gatherine of evidence been waiting know it wont happen over night my case is very simple only two things just kinda wondering whats going on with everything
Retirement pay is based on highest 36 months of your base pay. It is not based on rank. I believe you will be retired as an e-4 though.
Your question on timeline is a common one. There is no defined expectation. Currently the average is 151 days according to the VA. YMMV. Take some time and read through all the various threads and posts and you will begin to get a better 'feel' for how long things are taking.

Is the 52 days business or calender days? DAV told me by the 29th Dec give or take 15 days either way it will be under 52 calendar days for preparation for decision.
