They do seem to have picked up the pace in Seattle. Mine was in Prep for decision for two weeks, then today went back to "gathering of evidence" I called the 800 number and they said proposed ratings have been sent to PEB. Was only 65 days at the VA. RO was Seattle. I go see my PEBLO tomorrow to see if she can get a sneak peak. Whole thing went rather fast, I was first referred in Jan of this year..

I agree, i am chomping at the bit. The overall number of compensation cases in Seattle are down 41% since January. But the average days pending has gone up over 25 days. WTF!
Question for you James. Our timelines are about the same. My VA Ebenfits page is still showing "Gathering of Evidence", are you still at this stage. Moreover are you Reserve or Active Duty?
So...I'm new on this site....My Unfit Memo signed 13 Jan 14, now it is at the Seattle VA...since that time It is over 130 days with the VA...Who could I contact, as my PEBLO sends an email every 30 days (generic template) telling me waiting on VA final decision...already receiving 60% from VA for my disability since April 2011. I would think they have all the evidence that they need since I've been in their system since that time and seek care at the VA Hospital. WTF over

Got my retirement pay today. Retired 23MAY. So I got from 23-31MAY pay deposited today. Surprised it came that quick. I did send my paperwork in beginning of MAY so that may have helped. Get your paperwork in people ! As soon as you get them orders!

There is no one you can call. Some members including myself, waited on ratings for over 300 days. I would just try to relax (even though you cant). Having a prior rating and being a reserve/national guard soldier may take longer for you ratings. That is the norm I have seen in last year. It may not! When you hit the 200 day mark on ratings alone, then you could try to call someone and speed it up. Good luck! Not trying to bring you down, but these are the facts.

Been waiting 16 days now after.unfit memo, I thought the goal was 14....I guess im getting the short end of the stick. Has anyone waited more than 14 days? Hope I get my 199 soon or im calling the white house
Pisciotta- the wait for the VA has been typically between 140-170 days. Some as of late have had a short wait 45-90 days. but i would prepare for the worst.

Mine took about 3 and half weeks to get my unfit Memo. First my Peblo let my packet sit on her desk for a week and then when she got the results back she didn't notify me right away. I have a feeling you will be hearing something in the upcoming week.
Honestly someone's time from even 6 months ago will vary. Someone's from 2012 are like ancient history. Right now Seattle times for ratings is as short as a 24 hour turn around to 116 days. It all depends what your last two of your SSN are. That's how the cases are handled at VA. Some rating teams are fast others not. It also depends on how many claims you have. Obviously the more you have can slow it down.
care to elaborate on the last two of your social? of the 5 in my MEB group three had there ratings under 30 days. Im at 59 days now and no word.
MEB group? If that is just other guys whose packets went up around the same time that's not a good way to tell. There are teams of raters that take the last two digits of you social and then it goes to that team or person. These are called the terminal digits.
My terminal digits are 12. I hope that's the quick group! Another thing to throw in the mix, my MSC sent my packet to Seattle as soon as all my exams were complete. My e benefits changed from the local RO to Seattle in late April. So, in theory, Seattle has had most of my records and my C&P exams since then.
quick question. Does anyone know if AGR Soldiers get rated at Providence or Seattle? There is another SM who is in my BDE going through the process. i was a week ahead of them in the process. I just found out that their VA packet is at a rater and mine is still not assigned to a rater.
I was just told through the VA 1-800 # that Seattle is taking up to 15 months to process claims. Has anyone else heard anything close to this?
I am sure in some cases it can take up to 15 months, but i believe that cases are averaging 165 days. i have called the 800# 3 times and i beleive them to be clueless.
