This is good news right? Good to see that even those of us who have been waiting since the Dec/Jan timeline aren't all lost - aparently those packets are somewhere not just limbo.
Well bad news. Talked to peblo and she said it will at least be another 60-90 days for anything. Guess the va is backed up over 800 cases. Well guess my job and house are not going to happen. Can't do nothing at this point. Guess ill go back to just sitting at home everyday bc I can't do my job. If it is another 60 days that means it will take 120+ days just for ratings!
I was told the same thing on march 5th, looked it up today and peblo says there isn't anything showing it was at the part.
103 days since unfit memo. At review of evidence the whole time. If the VA is trying to teach me patience the hard way, mission accomplished. You know the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different outcome. I think I'll go check my ebenefits, my meb/peb, and call my PEBLO again. Wait does that make me insane? Maybe I should claim that too it certainly won't slow things down any.
If they are getting backed up that bad, they really should consider having more than what?... 3 va places to handle all these cases! That's just ridiculous! My husband is only at day 17 for ratings, so not worried about it yet! Hoping to not hit the triple digits though, but won't be surprised if he does.
Because my daughter has cerebral palsy and I was really hoping to get rated at least 30% from DoD so I can maintain the much needed insurance.
I have been at review of evidence forever now. I am right about 2 months since the unfit memo was sent for ratings. I am hoping to hear something soon not holding my breath though. ablatt2911 I do the same thing except nothing even shows in the peb portion yet.
Well at the time I thought it was pretty good news... But here I sit two weeks later and my ebenfits haven't updated with anything new and my PEBLO says she sees nothing new on her screen. For all I know, the VA could have tossed my packet right back to the side and nothing has happened with it. Very frustrating.
I can tell you now, I wont be waiting anything past the 120 day window. If it gets one day past that, i'll open up a congressional. May not get me what I want, but at least it will put a spotlight on those folks.
What does a congressional do? Would like to consider this route since I'm at 100 now. At 120 that's when I plan to take some sort of action since my PEBLO said that it takes up to 120 days. So at day 121 I'm going to do something...perhaps this is what I should try?
Well once the congressman is involved and they send the inquiry they have 5 days to respond to the inquiry. My stuff has been up there since december 5 so after the msc , peblo and the ice complaint department of the hospital told me to do it, thats what i did!
well all i can tell u is contact your local congressman brother, because u are in a big ole boat with the rest of us!
