Seeking legal counsel

Good afternoon,

I recently received my AF MEB results and I would like to request an IMR and submit a rebuttal. I have to return this decision to my PEBLO on Wednesday. I could really use a good recommendation for an attorney who I could call ASAP.

My biggest concern is that most of my VA C&P exams were done in one appointment by one medical examiner. The problem is that there are egregious errors on almost all documents. For instance, they turned in C&P exams for examinations that were not completed and for conditions I clearly do not have. Also, some of my actual conditions were understated or with incorrect onset dates.

How can a MEB NARSUM be correct, if the exams they reviewed misrepresented my conditions?

Goal: Speak to a private attorney today if possible.

Thank you all in advance.

This post sounds almost exactly like my C&P exam. If you wouldn’t mind, please also send me those legal advice names. I haven’t actually seen my NARSUM yet, but get the feeling it’s going to be wrong.

I am a firm believer in paying for private dedicated representation since you only get one shot at this process! With an experienced attorney you get coaching and someone not afraid to appeal at every turn if need be to get the best result. I have seen too many post of people blindly trusting the PEBLO who is a paper pusher or talking to free assigned legal who only look at your things upon request and without having a lot of time to help or review. You get what you pay for both in IDES and in the legal system overall. I know many that have had great results without one but why risk it? There is no way to compare after to see if you could have done better or not. My wife just went through this process and got many benefits she never dreamed of getting when she started the process due to having dedicate private legal counsel.

Your problem is with the VA. Talk to your MSC about the errors made by the VA examiner. DoD is bound by law to apply VA percentages to unfitting contentious.
