Severance Pay Help

Hoping for some help and anyone with guidance on this. I was told I was being removed from medically retired (off of tdrl) and would receive a severance pay. That was May of this year. I have an official document from TRDL submitting this to DFAS dated late May, 2025. I have stayed on top of calling and was informed by one person that my severance pay has been sitting in QA (I assume quality assurance) since July. Every time I call, That’s all I get told and that they will escalate the ticket. Only 1 person in the probably 20 I have talked to over the months has genuinely acted like it was strange and shouldn’t be there that long. I have called and asked if they show any debts or anything holding it up and have been told no. It is a decent amount, but no where close to 6 figures. Anyone in this boat or have any kind of ideas or insight. I’ve been told there is no way for them to contact the individuals involved in this QA section other than escalating a ticket. As if they are not reachable.

Might want to contact your congressperson. Do a congressional inquiry. They normally have a person who can interface with DFAS etc.
 
Thank you for the reply. I was thinking others may have had this issue as well, it’s not appearing so in the moment. At least someone else here that could potentially chime in. I’ll look into the congressperson route. Thank you
