Good Day,

Has anyone gone or going through IDES and completed their C&P exams and sent in additional information (to support their claim) to their MSC?
Initially, all of your information is sent to the VA for evidence once you are enrolled in IDES. Do they do a refresh (send in additional medical exams, notes, tests, labs, etc..) before going to the MEB and PEB. For example, I have had several appointments and exams since the time they sent over my medical service records. I don't want to do any unnecessary work if I don't have to.

If you are talking about after the CP exams are complete then you will not be able to submit any new information for those exams. You can use that new information for a VARR or appeal if the findings are not to your liking.

Thank you for responding, so I can’t submit anything to the rating officials to help with my claim? My orthopedic surgeon added more conditions as an addendum. I thought the comp and pen exams were just a small part of it

Thank you. My MSC said give it to him. He will submit to the rating board. Thanks

I had to do a VARR and submitted additional evidence. I wrote a draft VARR statement—because you know how you fell/pain/been through better than the attorney. I then gave it to the attorney who cleaned it up and put all the legal stuff in it. The document was co-signed and submitted.
