I just spoke with DFAS and was told there is no official ruling or way to pay CRSC recipients who were only paid back to six years from filing date. Is this true?

I found out I was eligible for CRSC by happenstance, 16 years later and am owed 10 more years of benefits.

I found out I was eligible for CRSC by happenstance, 16 years later and am owed 10 more years of benefits.

In effect, yes, it's true as the case was remanded back to the lower courts to figure out what's the next step. All the USSC decided was that the Barring Rule was not applicable to CRSC claims.

The case isn’t settled quite yet. If you look at the Rudisill timeline, which was also a remand as well, 8 months.
