TDRL Narsum

I am hoping to get some advice about my TDRL Narsum. The Neuropsychologist went on a rampage attacking my character. Bringing up old MEB information, saying i sought treatment because I didnt get my duty station of choice. He was completely incorrect about some information, while asserting that I was faking or exaggerating my tests to get a worse score. I couldn't believe what I was reading.

I basically broke down his bullcrap one bullet at a time, and provided a rebuttal. Now I see why JBLM has such a bad reputation with MEB stuff. It was absurd.

Previous MEB should be irrelevant with the exception that a PEB found me unfit, and the information provided viable and accurate. This TDRL re-eval NeuroPsych is trying to refute all of that information, to fit his narrative. WTF?

Indeed, only info that should be provided is the current state of the condition. I could see where the discussion could get off track if they were trying to explain how a condition improved more than could reasonably be expected.

Getting a second exam (VA?) that refutes his position may be the best answer. Recent treatment notes are good.

Thanks for getting back. Basically, I went to the VA in Dec. 2014 when my work schedule finally allowed it. Before that I was sporadically going, because I have lived in 3 different cities in 2 years. I went to the VA in 2013 in Vegas, and 2013-2014 in Baltimore as well (BUT NEVER GOT THE RECORDS IN TIME).

He tried to make a note saying I only started going to the VA in Dec. because I had a TDRL evaluation. Which is semi-true, I said I wanted to make sure and get a SECOND OPINION already because of the possibility of them trying to screw me (which coincidentally is exactly what happend!)

So, the guy went back and basically torched the previous MEB, saying that there was no way I have PTSD because sometimes my symptoms werent noted during an evaluation. LOL. That means some days I have good days, some days are bad. Pretty consistent with PTSD.

Starts questioning the other Neuropsych's tests and even says they werent conducted by a Neuropsych... which again is incorrect.

I wish I could show you the NARSUM its laughable. I mean absolutely disgusting attack on my character and the other doctors who ALREADY AGREED on my 1st MEB that I had PTSD.

There were so many things wrong, and speculation on his part. The guy should honestly lose his job for it.

Its like they just want us to be homeless and not trying to better ourselves in anyway OR it NOT PTSD... no way no how someone can get a degree with PTSD. The guy didnt seem to understand much about the Brain for a neuropsych.

The only redeeming aspect of the NARSUM was the OTHER Psychologist basically said it should be FINAL (PERMANENT), then listed his overall summary as VERBATIM of the VASRD 50% PTSD.

I wonder who they will listen to... all the other doctors, or one outlaw who thinks he's God. (Its clear in his writing how arrogant he is)

That's crazy. I'm sorry to hear that happened to you. You might want to go and see another doctor because see it around the time for your evaluation they could consider what he has to say. You want to give them someone who says you have PTSD like the other doctors to back you up because even tho you did a rebuttal your word against a specialist right now. I mean who knows they could see what you see and say he is arrogant and not listen to a word he says. It's a 50/50 chance. To get better odds go and see someone else if possible.
