I have a question in regards to TDRL and Separation Pay that may be odd just to even ask it but bare with me for a second.
Is it possible for a Service Member that was found unfit for duty and proposed ratings are over 30% DoD and VA, to opt or request somehow to instead of being put on the TDRL, receive a medical separation pay?
PS.
I know that its not ideal and on the long run its better to shoot for the retirement (benefits, id card, etc)
