Does the VA use the PEB's decision of fit/unit to help with their rating, or does the VA use a completely different thing? My Ebenefits says "Review of evidence" 10/31/11. I figured it would have been further than that since I have completed all of my evaluations and what not. I signed my narsum a month ago but my peblo keeps telling me she's been too busy to send it out. I wanted to call the VA and ask if they possibly had my % yet but didn't know if the PEB had a role in it, thanks!

The VA shows your stuff from the date of you VA appt's. But they wont start rating your Package until the IPeb asks for numbers (Only if they determine that you are unfit for duty). Once everything gets sent off, it will take a bit for you VA stuff to start moving, but You can call and ask where it is and if the PEB has requested info yet. 18008271000, options 1-1-0
I think the issue at hand that you should be worried abou tis your PEBLO saying that after a month they have not had "time" to send out your NARSUM. There is a timeline they have to abide by. I'd keep pushing that they send it out and ask to speak to their supervisor about that situation.

Im having the same prob w/my peblo , the first one got a better position and turned me over to someone else, that peblo never contacted me in two mths , I finally called the orig peblos # and was patched to a third peblo who said she was now in charge of my folder, she must have known someone to get her job because she treated me like I was an a#% and told me nothing after having been going through IDES since April 2011 . I would love to give her a piece of my mind but afraid of the repracutions .

Generally they just escort you out. Show up to speak to them. Bring a superviosor if you are not E-5 and above to show you are serious. This is your life they are messing with so being proactive isn't bad. I was lucky with my PEBLOs so far. Now that I'm in my final stages I seem to be more adimant about what's going on.

Thanks for the info Clay, The peblos I am dealing with are in San Antonio and Im in NY , if I could Id be up there butts every day in person but I cant . The next best thing is maybe asking for names so my congressman can proced with a congresional inquary and see if that lights a fire under them , I do call the VA and they give me whatever they can as far as info , this whole new IDES process isnt working as far as im concerned .
Call your MSC (VA Rep) and your Case Manager (Civilian Nurse) to get on that PEBLO! That is totally uncalled for! All they do is scan it and e-mail it to the PEB...

Thanks, I'll try my VA rep next but as far as nurse case managers they told me I couldn't see mine anymore (at ft hood) they said they've all been assigned to WTU or something like that. I called again today and my PEBLO is on leave and no one still will not tell me about my packet.
