Hi so I hope this is the best place to explain and find answers. My med board was started by my PCM in October 2022. However, I’ve been told since 2020 that once diagnosed with the suspected condition I will be up for the med board.
I wasn’t formally diagnosed until Feb 2022: Rheumatoid arthritis.
May 2022: Eosinophilic colitis.
Aug 2022: Fibromyalgia(which was a second opinion to the RA but that diagnosis stuck because they said I can have both) which they said was caused by minor PTSD I have.
And now Feb 2023 finally diagnosed with my main concern that brought me into the hospitals/ERs in the first place. Which is what helped diagnosed everything else I guess..IST inappropriate sinus tachycardia
Anyway both PCM and Commander have recommended retaining because I’m just a Dental Assistant, and I don’t call out enough to affect the mission. Which I do at least weekly and have constantly be out to the er and a sugery that had me out for 6 weeks in October. However Commander explained during my meeting with him(which I felt was not the best, because he and my flight commander popped up randomly to ask about my med board when I had 15min between a patient) it’s not everyday and I of course agreed with that. Because no matter how I felt I would show up. Anyway I haven’t heard from the PEB the entire time. And finally received a email from my superintendent to contact the PEB to sign documents. I find my process be odd like is this? Opinions please
