Transition Timeline Question

Hello all,

I’m towards the end of my MEB and have a question regarding the outprocess/transition timeline.

I’m estimated to get my percentages 15OCT. I’m told that date finalizes my MEB and hands me over to transition.

I would like to use the max 90 days for clearing, leave, ETC. I’m now learning that I don’t get to pick my allowance of days.

Here is my situation,
My family and I live on post and my wife’s school graduation is 15DEC. After her graduation we are moving back to my home of record. Staying active duty until at least 15DEC(60 days after VA percentages) would be tremendous for me, due to being here already for her school and it would give me time to schedule transportation. I also wouldn’t have to worry about moving off post and finding a short term job for a month or two.

I’m thinking it’ll be hard to even get the 60 days, but I also have some terminal leave. Is there a way to request the full 90 days for outprocessing? 60 days in uniform, 30 days terminal leave.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
