TRANSPROC Timeline

So just an FYI I know here at Bliss IG wont get involved if its with any IDES issues. I have a soldier that has been waiting on ratings since Nov. and he has ended up attempting suicide twice and my BN CDR/SGM went to IG over his "timeline" and IG said its a loss cause and that's what the ombudsmen is for.
The only difference I feel like between what you said and what my command wants to do is, they aren't using IG to help me, they are using IG to make sure this doesn't happen again, by building a case against my PEBLO. But again, I am not 100% sure it will work. That's their deal, I will hopefully be out by then lol

I think the only case they may have is the god comment. Again here at bliss they take ICE complaints more serious than IG. So they could do that against the peblo and I think that would go a lot further.

My BN CDR called the head of IDES for me when I was waiting on my TRANSPOC past their timeline. They informed her that once the packet leaves IDES it's out of their control. I had two job offers but since I still didn't have a date I could start the offers were pulled and I lost out. I just take it as the Army screwing me one last time. Sums up my last 3 years of getting raped by the Army

ah damn, well alright. I will see what gets done, I just hate that my PEBLO is refusing to contact the PEB just to get a status report on the packet. Considering she is the liason for me to find out any information, I feel like one quick phone call will get everything fixed. It is just confusion that she refuses to sort out. It is so stupid. lol

And to your last statement, that is how I am looking at it to, because why not?
 
Yes, I have a meeting with the Ombudsmen tomarrow 0900. Hoping go get this whole thing figured out.
Please let us know if the Ombudsmen help, if they do I will schedule an appt with them next week.

Hey, so I met with my ombudsmen at fort polk. She is now tracking the situation and will get involved Wednesday if there is no progress. My peblo came up with a plan of action and We agreed on wendsday as being a good day to reevaluate. I would definitely say that it has helped, and she made it very clear that she has no problem making some phone calls through medcom. She also said that a wait this long after signing your 199 to hit transpoc is unheard of and she has never seen it before. I would deffinitly encourage you to set an appointment with your ombudsmen, at least so they are informed and so that you have that resource on the back-burner if necessary.

So I had an appointment with my ombudsman today. She said she isn't even going to involve the PEBLO and this crapshoot should be resolved if not today, by Thursday. Here's to hoping she's right, and my swift outprocessing in a week instead of 2... (This is Ft. Gordon)
 
Good luck with your ombudsmans! I hope it all works out. I'm still sitting over here waiting for the PEB to send my packet on after my VARR. I know it's been back there for 2 weeks already sooooo hopefully they send it soon.
 
At Wipperwill how long have you been waiting? I am at Gordon also, seems that they are the test dummies for this new system and it has been a disappointment since the start of the new year. I was speeding along, until it was time to send my stuff to the PEB then, the long waits begin. I have missed 3 straight timelines according to the IDES chart. So what is the purpose of the ombudsman?

I have been waiting exactly 5 weeks to hit TRANSPROC. When the Ombudsman called yesterday my packet magically "appeared" in the PEB's system... yesterday. So now they are saying it will take until Friday to send to the PDA, where I am hoping (fingers crossed) I can get in contact with SFC Kirkpatrick at the PDA and get it expedited.

The Ombudsman is your legal advocate if you are being kicked around by your PEBLO. My PEBLO has been nothing but complete crap and lazy, and so I spoke to the Ombudsman who was able to call MEDCOM herself, and get in touch with the PEB and PDA for me.

If you mean for the whole process, it has been almost 8 months.
 
Update for you guys, I got my ombudsmen involved on thursday last week. By tuesday afternoon I had orders in hand. Start clearing today

Hell yea congrats! I was told by my Ombudsman to wait until monday (according to the PEB) and they will push the PDA to immediately process it once it gets sent. Hopefully I will have mine tuesday also!
 
So does the signed 199 get sent to PDA or HRC or are those the same thing?

I was told by my PEBLO that once it goes to the PEB its out of their hands and they are no longer responsible for what happens. He told me numerous times that my packet had been sent to the PDA already and it would take up to two weeks to be added to the list. I find out Monday that my packet has been sitting at the PEB for the last month and all they can tell me is that they are sorry for the inconvenience and we will look into your packet. WTF!!!! Ive already lost out on two job offers because I couldn't give them a timeline. This is ridiculous!!!

There is no excuse for the absolute ineptitude of the Army with this process.

Just talked with the pda they have 3000 cases todo. The new system just went online yesterday. They are getting backed up with calls from people checking on statues
