Update: What my outcome was.

I got my outcome after the FPEB as TDRL 70% rating, all combat related for ptsd.

I was happy about it but frustrated that I was made to take TDRL instead of permanent because it is ptsd I must have at least 1 review before it is permanent by regulation.

The meeting went well, I explained my case and provided all the evidence that I thought might have been overlooked with my military attorney. When it was over they told me my job was in their mind the most dangerous and probably the most important in iraq when I served. When I presented my case the board was misty eyed after. I went to the waiting room while they deliberated. My attorney told me he knew I won, I would get 70% I asked for I asked how he knew, he said "because you made them cry". 5 minutes latter we went back in and I got my rating.

If your wondering what my job was, I was a 21b combat engineer, our mission was IED hunting. Finding the ambush sites before softer targets like convoys or combat patrols got hit by them. 68 separate ambushes or IED's found in a little over 200 missions.

It was a long road, and took several years. I am just glad it is basicly over. My attorney seems very confident the review I have this august will be a formality more than anything else.

My squad had over 400 combat patrols in some of the worst parts of Baghdad, and only got hit by ONE (1) IED the entire time, because of ya'll's service. I've done about everything you can think of, combat related; from QRF, to raids, to personnel recovery, but route clearance is the one thing I don't think I could have the nerve for. I just wanted to say that I appreciate you getting me home safely. BTW, that one IED was at an IP check point right outside our FOB's gate. We shouldn't have needed route clearance through there...
