I have read on several posts about people getting there rating from the VA prior to PEB. How? I was told that the VA wouldn't even talk to you until you are completely seperated from service. Can someone please explain this process?

This is an area you need to be carefull with on what applies to reserve components v.s AD.
Try the Benifits Delivery at Discharge information at this VA site. I've heard of a few places that have it fully implemented and others, like my location, where the VA just doesn't seem to have the resources to move forward with it yet.
