VA rating

good morning,

i see individuals stating that they know their VA rating but haven't been med boarded yet... i think. how are individuals getting these ratings? can you get a VA rating without going through an MEB? like a vector check basically? any information would be greatly appreciated.

People that have a VA rating prior to a med board are National Guard or Reserves. You cannot be on active duty title 10 orders and receiving VA benefits. Some people on this site have been through the VA process months or years before they are med boarded.
