Hello all, very confused and just very frustrated with the system. I submitted my NARSUM to the peb middle OCT I’m still trying to figure out if I am unfit. I haven’t been able to reach my peblo since then.
I called the Va hotline two times so far both times they told me I’m in the decision phase. However when I called today the lady would not tell me anything about my case and to contact my peblo. Also the Va website has never showed any claims very frustrating.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

What branch are you in?

I am in the Navy. I started IDES in January, 2023, signed NARSUM July 28, 2023, VA told me 100% proposed ratings September 13 (PEBLO said I should not have that info), late September I was found unfit (told by my lawyer). As of November 6 I still have not seen ANY official paperwork. My PEBLO just keeps saying it’s in “final determination” and I should get official findings any day now. So frustrating.

There isn't much transparency in between steps. There used to be a console that tracked it and had a estimate of how long each step took by displaying a current average but the went away in 2022. You are probably not going to like this advice but there it is... I would try to stay busy and just wait to hear back from PEBLO. They typically will only reach out when there is something to do such as signing off on something. You will know if you are unfit when they present you with a DA199 to either concur or request VARR (If one condition is found unfit) and or to appeal to a FPEB.

Update: I just got my official findings yesterday and signed/returned them. My PEBLO said the new timeline is this: 1-2 Weeks back with PEB, they will forward to Navy Personnel (PERS) to process orders, should be with them for 7-10 days, then my command will receive my separation orders.
