So I have been in the process for awhile and the hold up ultimately has come down to a punctuation issue with one DBQ that has tied me up with the VA and VES since 11 March 2025 when the PEB sent my packet to the VA for ratings. The VA rater requested a rework from VES on 2 APR and it has been sitting with VES ever since for one condition. I have called VES and was told that the rework was complete weeks ago and was sitting in the QA process at this time. This was two weeks ago. I called again this morning and was given the run around that the claim was actively being worked today and maybe would be done soon. All of this because the examiner put a forward slash in the wrong place on the DBQ. Is there anyone that I can reach out to at this point to push on VES to finish this up?

Some of my VES appointments were at an actual VES office. I returned a few times to ask nicely for help as the VES general national phone line proved not to be useful for certain issues.
The other is just to get your MSC or PEBLO involved.

So another update in the saga… got in touch with my MSC today and he looked at my file and said that I lost my rater due to VES dragging their feet on the clarification on my one DBQ. Prompted a call to VES and was told that everything was complete on their end pending the providers signature on the DBQ. We shall see how this goes cause the last time I waited for a signature it took the mental health provider two months to sign it.
Maybe consider looking up the provider and calling them directly. While I do not advise this normally, sharing with them your timeline and loss of rater could garner some sympathy. As an example if they are a regular provider at VES, consider asking the front desk people to relay a message.
