Just wondering if anyone has gone through an MEB and had their stuff done at West Point?
So far from my PEBLO contacting me to getting my VA exams, everything has been done in one month's work as for many, but I was wondering from here on now.
Hmmmm. Seems a bit longer than most. How long after your C&P exams did your status update from gathering evidence? Do you use myheathevet? After most of my exams it only took 3 days for the notes to become visible. After my last exam (which was admittedly the most detailed) the doctor said she would finish up adding codes and what not that afternoon. I still haven't seen the notes from this appointment in the system. Did it take more than two weeks after your last exam?

I use MyHealtheVet and I want to say on average it took 2-4 days for the notes to be uploaded after each visit. The one that took the longest was general medicine since it needed lab work and xrays aside from the actual evaluation.
My last C&P exam was on the 5th of June and by the 9th all the notes were uploaded with lab work and xrays.
Currently I am waiting for my MSC to send whatever documentation he sends to my PEBLO to have her submit it for a NARSUM.
That is the usual length that the results from my C&P exams posted. Except for this last one. Which STILL hasn't posted. Hopefully it didn't get lost in the queue or something. This entire process is so stressful. Please keep me updated on when your NARSUM is drafted and your experience with how that part of the process goes for you!
Thank you for the update! I'm happy to hear that there is solid movement happening on your case. The notes from my final C&P examination finally posted yesterday which I am elated to discover. I think the process that you are currently in has a goal of 35 days? I could be mistaken. Fingers crossed that it won't take the full length of time and perhaps put you a little more than 10 days ahead of the timeline. Hang in there! We are making progress slowly but surely. Does your ebenefits still say gathering evidence?

So today I got an email from the PEBLO with my MEB referral and NARSUM. That was quick!
The MEB Physician said that 2 out of 15 conditions did not meet retention and that the packet should continue to the PEB. This is what I was expecting so I signed the form and sent it to the PEBLO within hours. Hopefully the PEB part takes less than 2-3 weeks.
Holy crap, are you serious?! So from the time that your packet went to the MEB and you signed your NARSUM - it was only two days? Or do you think that the MEB packet was there longer than that? That is seriously an insane turnaround. I hope it goes as quickly for me!

Interestingly enough, when I was talking to my nurse case manager at HRC, she said that from her knowledge, Westpoint was pretty backed up. Again, this was a couple months ago so they may have gotten caught up and you happened to fall into their lap right at the perfect time! I'm really excited for you and hope to hear more soon!
So I checked ebenefits today and it jumped from "gathering of evidence" to "pending decision approval". I almost jumped out of my chair. What does your ebenefits currently say? Does it still stay "pending decision approval?" Do you think this means that they have/or are currently drafting my NARSUM? This should mean that I am definitely in the MEB phase then, right? So many questions! I don't want to bug my PEBLO.

Mine has the same status. All it means for people going through MEB is just that your ratings wise are pending to go to the VA section gmthat rates you the minute the PEB says you are unfit for duty.
My timeline got updated and it now reflects my packet at the IPEB which it shows that it has been there for 6 days now. Hopefully we keep up with the expedited process.
That makes sense! Awesome news about the IPEB. I seriously cannot believe how quickly you are moving through this process. I hope to hear something about my NARSUM soon. It seems that I am about a week or so behind you so fingers crossed!
Just friendly advice. Ebenefits is pointless until your packet is actually at the VA. And it is really not helpful until you are complete and give your 214 to the VA MSC for them to finish your claim, then Ebenefits will show everything.
Best site for tracking your status once your packet goes to the VA is Vets.gov You use your DS Login with them also and it gives up to date info status of your case while it is at the VA and is better than Ebenefits.
Thanks for the great information. I registered on vets.gov today and can see exactly what you were talking about. It does give more specific dates and a gives a better idea of where it is. I appreciate the info!
