What do you think? Fit or Unfit?

Does this support a fit finding? This is the letter submitted by the commander for my MEB. Keep in mind that I've already had an Assignment limitation code for the past 7 years from my first MEB so no real change there from his recommendation.

"Capt XXX is an outstanding officer that will continue to perform exceptionally in the US Air Force. He has been continually recognized as a superior performer at Electronic Systems Command, the Missile Defense Agency, and at 50th Space Wing. While his medical condition prevents him from being world-wide deployable, Capt Ludwig is still able to provide important and meaningful contributions to our Air Force as an Acquisition Project Officer. The large majority of Acqusition positions are located within CONUS and thus there is minimal impact from his inability to deploy to a hostile AOR. I would hire Capt XXX to work on any program I managed and would know that I had the best working for me to deliver combat capability to our warfighters. I fully endorse the retention of Capt Ludwig on Active Duty and believe it is the best interest of the Air Force and our nation that the MEB retain Capt Ludwig on Active Duty.

I think the concluding statement quoted above is supportive of a fit finding.

If you're asking, "Will the PEB find me fit for duty due to this letter?" - No, a fit finding will not be solely based on this letter (nor will it necessarily result in a fit finding when combined with other evidence).

Xeno, i understand what you are saying but what if the Officer who wrote the letter puts contradictions all through out. For example, stating that my motivation is in question, but later on stating in the write up how great of a sailor i am and i mentor Junior Sailors. what do you do when your XO writes something and your CO never sees it?
