WHAT IF???

I hope they don't react negatively based on a doctors note. But even a profile is only a recommendation to the command on your limitations. If they choose not to listen though, and something happens, it will not look good on the command. I think getting a doctors letter at minimum is a good move and if conditions worsen express that to your doctor. I'm not sure if you have a profile limiting your duties, but I would suggest you have one. It will put the command in a position where they have to take responsibility if something were to happen.

I do have profile, but They seem to not understand or don't want to understand.

Unfortunately there are command climates like the one you are currently in. If your profile is being deliberately disregarded, you should go to the doctor who gave you your profile. Sometimes all it takes is communication between the doctor and the command. I have seen this happen a few times during my career. Unfortunately at times, it is the soldier who is trying to work the system and gets caught which only paints a negative picture on all soldiers with legitimate profiles. Sometimes it only takes one and the rest are dirtbags in the eyes of the command. You will need to prove them otherwise if your command has had negative experiences in the past. But a visit to your profiling doctor could change things for the better. I know it is difficult to suck it up and continue with the mission, but obviously you do have some limitations and a commander who doesn't follow a doctors recommendation on a profile is really taking a huge risk. Try to stand out in a positive way in your unit, get your doctor involved and use your chain of command. If this fails, IG can become involved. Try to stay out from under the radar and take some sort of action. If you don't, things definitely wont change for the better until the command itself is under the radar from an outside source. Most commanders try to avoid that type of attention.

maybe I'm missing something.....but if you are "P4" or "block 31 or 37" for the AFR, you CAN'T drill. If unfit for military duties, you CAQN'T do military orders without a waiver....and getting the waiver is a BAD idea.

89Falcon- I don't have a P4 just a P3 and what is "block 31 or 37", and AFR?
hawkdrivermtp, thanks

Yeah, Army uses a completely different form the Army. Too bad all the services cant just have one standardized form. It would make thinks a lot easier.

Thanks for all the info you guys have given me. I had my therapist write a letter to the commander so she can understand my situation and how it effects my ability to function, when I get triggered which it doesn't take much being in a MP unit. I will be giving it to here next drill. I hope it will not be a mistake and come back and bite me in the butt. I just want them too understand and leave me along until I finish with my MEB/PEB process. Also, does anyone knows how long it takes after the last phone consult until it is written up as the Narsum?
If you feel u cant attend drills a letter from a treating therapist preferably a licensed shrink will work. The letter needs to state the effects on you wid the military, diagnosis, prognosis, etc. If the unit doesnt ok this within 1 month Immediately call the IG. I guarantee you the guard will have to comply. I was given the ok to not attend drills the day after I submitted the letter.

MP00-I live over 2 hours from my reserve unit. I was financially, physically, and mentally unable to continue drilling. My command gave me a very hard time over this. I finally had to go thru IG. After talking to IG, sending them evidence of my issues/restrictions, IG spoke with my command team, and it was decided that I didn't need to be at the unit. I haven't attended drills since April 2011, and the command is no longer harassing me, after having the talk with IG. The unit is now supportive, and understanding. All worked out in the end...Thankfully.
I was in a similar situation, and though I couldn't attend drill, I earned points over the internet doing military correspondence classes. Good Luck.

I'm not saying suck it up at all here, I would say this - if you cant "drill" is there anything you can do? Even if it is BS work or play on google for 4 hrs (MY Current situation since i have NO JOBS or Responsibilities). I know it sucks they cant just dismiss you to recuperate, but as you are STILL on orders/AD/Guard or Reserve/ the situation persists. Believe me, I do NOT want to be at work, and do not care to see some of the people I must see, but I am still on orders, so just hang in there. The situation will get better, I promise!!

Thanks everyone for the support and info I appreciate it very much.

finally got a 1SG that cares for the soldiers, I explained my situation to the right people (not in my section but a different section) and myself and my unit has worked out somethings. I do mandatory classes, correspondence classes and send the unit my behavioral health appointments and I will be getting paid for them.
