Hi, first off thanks to everyone who contributes to this forum as there's a ton of great information.

I've been dealing with issues for the last few years but only recently went to the clinic reporting all of them on my PHA. After many blood tests, urine tests, and a colonoscopy/endoscopy, i have been diagnosed with:

-Needing to be on a gluten free diet
-Hiatal Hernia
-Gerd.

-I've also had severe back pain for a while now that's been documented

-high blood pressure for no apparent reason that hasn't been able to be controlled for 8 years even with medicine.

-extreme migraines that require me to practically take a nap or be in a very dark room.

-ive also been referred to a Nephrologist for a lot of proteinuria with a GFR of 65.

My Doctor at the clinic said has me on a temporary 469 prohibiting me from going tdy, pcs'ing or deploying. He also stated he's going to put me on a deployment limiting code 31? And that 'further administrative documentation will be initiated within 60 days to determine a more permanent deployment limitation code for my situation'.

Overall,

What do you think will happen? Specifically with needing to be on a gluten free diet indefinitely and my other issues, one of which potentially being CKD?

Thank you In advance

None of those things in AF are a deal breaker. The kidney issue could push you over the top. Code 31 is trying to limit duties and from there you could continue on in your career with limited duty assignments or they may push you into code 37 which is full IDES where they will determine your fitness for duty. How long have you been in? How close to retirement?

Thanks for the info. I've been in 10 years.
