AFR AGR Orders Ending IRILO process

I'm an AGR and my orders are ending soon, within the month. I was planning on transferring to another unit and should have been on terminal leave now, but was blocked by a surprise from MDG and my provider saying I was meeting the AMRO board, which has turned into an IRILO. I have talked to the PEBLO but haven't gotten too much information; basically it is my understanding that I can/should have my orders extended until the MEB is resolved (no code 37 yet, but I do have a 469 showing mobility restrictions and an pending MEB). I have been trying to get in touch with ARPC about this but haven't heard back and my leadership is less than helpful. Does anyone have any information about this process specifically? At this point I’m honestly just trying to make sense of where I’m at in the process. DES Referral: 06/04/2025 MEBBA Review: 06/12/2025 DES Enrollment: 07/10/2025 (This included my NARSUM and all required paperwork through myself and my chain of command — they’ve been very helpful throughout the process.) C&P Exams Uploaded: 08/18/2025 PEB Taken for Action: 11/25/2025 VA Claim Closed: 11/25/2025 (I thought it was a bit strange that both were taken for action and closed on the same date.) I’m an active-duty Air Force firefighter (3E7X1) separating soon and looking for perspective from anyone who’s been through AMRO/IRILO/MEB, especially close to DOS. Medical retirement directly after promotion

Ive seen multiple answers on this and I'm hoping I can be fed the correct information here. I'm at 25 years of active service and will promote to CW3 in a few months. I was talking to my PCM today and there is a medication that can be prescribed for improving a condition I have. She told me that the moment they prescribe it to me they will have to start the "medical separation" process. I'm assuming my retirement would look like "xx months of CW2 AND xx months of CW3 pay" except I've seen multiple places that say it would be "36 months of CW3 pay". any clarity anyone can provide would be great. FYI...the new DOD AI tool is what ga e me the 36 months pay answer. Thanks for any help that can be provided.

Another shutdown days away

I can’t believe we’re here again facing another shutdown. The first one stalled my case into oblivion where I’m just waiting on my final findings to be Qa’d with no timeline or end in sight and I imagine it’ll only get worse. At the same time my command is trying to help me do a HUMs package since my mom is sick and that will probably be axed by another shut down. Appeal denied

Hello, I just appealed my narsum from MEB because it was missing information/inaccurate information and the unfit condition was of only one condition when I have multiple conditions from a accident while on duty. The appeal results came back and they denied it. My PEBLO had me sign the appeal within a 12 hour window and my lawyer has yet to get back with me. Is this normal? PeBLO said I will have another chance to appeal after receiving ratings, but I gave very clear and accurate information to my lawyer and the other conditions should have been a GO. MEB stopped

Hey everyone, odd question/situation. So I was referred for an MEB following a sleep study that rule out sleep apnea as a cause of my sleepwalking episodes. My provider placed the permanent profile on my record, sent everything up, I was contacted by a PEBLO and set to meet them Monday, filled out the paperwork given and returned it BUT - I just received a phone call stating I didn’t meet criteria/MDRP (?) due to evidence? I’m not sure what that means and they hung up rather quick after telling me to reach out to my PCM (which I have via genesis) Any advice? Seems odd to be a few steps in for it to suddenly stop. TIA!
