That's actually one of the reasons I finally registered. In hopes that through all of this, I have gained some knowledge that I can give back to this awesome community of fellow Wounded Warriors and may be able to help answer questions based on my experience.
The more helping advise the better! Your input is greatly appreciated for our guys at "The Hood". You can post some stuff that none of us could, especially like offices where Soldiers have to go to.

All right, good deal! Thanks! ;)

Again, welcome aboard!

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

Best Wishes!

Morning all,

My ebenifits was updated on thursday to Pending Decision Approval (90 days after unfit memo). However, it still says that I have outstanding documents required. They are the C&P exams that were passed along with my MEB. I emailed my PEBLO and she said that she didnt see anything new in the system. Any insight on why the status update, if nothing has changed and they are needing the same documents?

At least it sounds like you are making progress, my unfit memo went to the PEB/VA on 20 Nov 2012? How many depression drugs are you allowed to take at once?

I didn't even know that the PEBLO was still working, I figured they would not be important enough. I just presumed they would be furloughed. Actually I would probably recommend that they be furloughed since they have only told me what I already know, or what I can find out myself on AKO or eBenefits.

Here is the email I just received from my PEBLO:

Classification: UNCLASSIFIED

Caveats: NONE

The VA Disability Rating Activity Sites (DRAS) at Providence and Seattle are open and processing cases. IDES case files from the Services PEBs should still be moving to the DRAS's as an MSC is not required for this function. We've been advised by the VA that cases currently at the DRAS will be worked as well as new cases as they arrive from the PEBs.

Good deal; at least it seems that there are individuals still showing up for potential work.

Got excited because my PEBLO called me today.......to make sure I was aware that the government was still shut down and he had no new information on my case....Thanks for that...

I would love to hear something in regards to my case, I know I haven't been waiting as long as others in the forum have, but I defiantly am praying I hear something soon. I am glad to see your PEBLO is communicating with you. I wish mine would take the time to answer my e-mails.

Morning all,

I called the VA after seeing the same thing on mine and they asked me for my date of discharge and needed a copy of my dd-214. That was all they could see on their end.

On the 120 days anniversary of my relationship with VA I decided to talk with them. One nice lady spoke with me about my case and told me there was a movement on my case on first week of october but didn't told me what. She said they have been told not to give any timelines so, cant say anything but is there anyone who have been told something like this and case moved? I am AD and case is at PEB @ Seattle.

I regularly see my PEBLO since her office is right down in the WTU on Fort Hood and whether your PEBLO's tell you or not, I can tell you for a fact that they can see EVERYTHING. My PEBLO looks everytime I walk into her office on the VA Tracking System to see if there's any movement on my case and so far it's just that they reviewed all the documents and all of my exams are good. She said that is good news since that's normally what holds most cases up, but most of her cases have been taking about 90 days with the VA in Seattle to receive ratings. Also, she told me that as soon as the VA does the ratings and sends back to the PEB to do the 199, she can see exactly what my percentages are before we even get the 199. So, some of you may have awful PEBLO's but luckily for me, mine is awesome and talks to me all the time.

Indeed, it's all about how much "effort" an individual is willing to yield for any given profession; maybe, it's just enough not to get terminated in my opinion. ;)

Best Wishes!

I checked ebenefits this morning and see my case is moved to Rhode island from Seattle after 5 months, I am AD@ Bragg. Can someone advice what is going on? will I start over in line again or is it something normal? My PEBLO has a standard email reply "We will contact you if we hear anything about your claim."
VA claim generated: 14 may 2013
NARSUM submitted: 15 June 2013
PEB/199 - Waiting

Moved it so it could be completed quicker, sometime claims will be transferred to a office that provide help in reducing workload

That's something I still have trouble with. Seattle "Regional"...How is FT Bragg in Seattle's Region?

Update on my Fort Bragg Timeline
MEB Started: 15 MAR 2013
Signed Narsum: 18 APR 2013
VA recieved Claim (Seattle): 24 APR 2013 (no unfitt letter)
Ebenefits "Pending Decision Approval": 2 May 2013 (preliminary ratings)
Ebenefits went back to "Review of Evidence": 6 Jun 2013
DAV stated that VA sent ratings back to PEB: 18 SEP 2013 (Ebenefits still at "Review of Evidence")
Ebenefits "Pending Decision Approval" : 16 Oct 2013

I guess my claim was missing something again. They are playing with people's heads; This is actually getting funny. Has this happen to anyone? LOL hahahaha my claim was at pending decision approval on 2 may, then went back to Review of evidence 6 Jun and stayed there for 4 months, then finally changed back to pending decision approval 16 OOCT only to go backward to Prep for decision on 17 OCT lol lol that has to be funny.

Hey, I am in Florida and mine is in Seattle for PEB rating? Could they get an office any further away maybe Alaska or The Big Island? I guess the Atlanta office isn't big enough, I think that it is just the largest.

I don't know mine has been at "Gathering Evidence" since the conception of the V.A., I think. I even already have a V.A. rating from 2010. It will go up with my MEB/PEB, but shouldn't that fact make it EASIER? I am with you though on the part about "getting funny". It's funny like things were funny to Jack on The Shinning! HERE'S JOHNNY!!!

I have hit the big 100 days with the VA today. Still no word on my claim.

Checked my Ebenefits this morning and my claim was at Pending Decision Approval again. Im glad its being worked through. What is the timeline from here( I know we are different)
