    Limited Assignment Status

Curious if you were approved or not? Unfortunately, I don't have an answer as my career field was undermanned. But when you ask for manning, they do look at manning 1 rank below and above for %.

    Limited Assignment Status Question

Not sure if you still need the answer but the Ari Force Disabilities branch will apply for retirement for you and it will be very close to 20 years. Mine was 20 years and 2 days. I had a service commitment that they waived as well and would not let me finish it even thought the regulation said I...

Air Force IDES Timeline (Wanting to continue service)

Update! Just a follow up on how things went. I stayed where I was and never PCS'd, however I did receive 3 sets of orders (Korea, Guam, Ft Meade) and they were all cancelled by medical. If it was more than a year out then you get a final MEB and go through all the ringers again. August 2022 -...

    Crohn's Disease - Returned to Duty w/ AAC C2

As long as you claim it and they grant a service connection (which they should), they will cover it as long as you enroll in VA healthcare and use them for treatment. If you end up living too far from a VA facility you can get a community care referral.

They didn't say why but this was at the AFPC level and not the OAC. AFPC is just known to be always behind and probably overworked...I'm sure things will get back to normal soon, at least I hope.

Everything is on hold until they approve or deny it. I did attend TAPS and taking other retirement classes that come up just in case. If they deny it then I have 20 days of out-processing and about 70 days of terminal leave to take.

He did not say how long the SAF process was, sorry. The LAS only requires CC signature (mine is O-5) and a stable condition. But you can add letters of recommendation from anyone you work with or for and a letter from the functional stating what your career field manning is at, this helps if...

I was told yes they typically stay in place but you could move based on the code applied. The LAS is really your CC saying this person is still an asset and the career field needs them and I have use for them in my SQ. I don't see why they would PCS you after being approved. I am still waiting...
