If it helps any, I recently submitted my packet and got me decision letter, albeit from the Army, but 2 combat tours to Afghan, and my 30% rating for Hyper-Awareness/Sleep Disorders was awarded with the reason of combat deployment and location. I have a CIB but they didn't cite that as the reason.

I just got my call today from legal, was about 5 weeks. They are accepting most of my appeal an adding a condition to my unfit DOD rating.

I had my meeting with legal this afternoon, was told my appeal will be submitted next week once all documents are in order, and it should take roughly a month to hear back. So its likely around that range. I was told if I did a formal board though it would be in November or December.

No problem, i wish it didnt take as long as it did, but the knee recovery has been slow due to the surgery they did. I will continue to update this post and not make a new one as i progress through.
