  • Hope someone might be able to help me out. I am 100% P/T from the VA. 100% PDRL from the Army. I just recieved my finding from CRSC findings letter say approved 100% Combat Related. I recieved a letter from the Army saying pay would be 2000 a month roughly, but since I am VA at $3200 a month, how much would I be looking at for CRSC?
Diagnosed with PTSD from my Deployment to GTMO. Received Hazardous duty pay and Imminent Danger Pay for the 13 months I was there. Will this give me the leverage I need to have the VA wave the repayment of Involuntary Separations Pay?
Suffering from migraines for 6 years. Seen 2 neurologists already and been on every med known with no help. Going see my 3rd neurologist. How do I insist that I be offered a MEB? I am at risk of failing out of Korean at DLI either because of grades or number of absences. My medical conditions prevent me from functioning and my career is going downhill because of it. What steps do you recommend?
I recieved my PDBR letter on the 24th of Feb 2012 that I was being retired at 30%. I haven't heard anything else since that time. I'm a little worried that something is wrong or something was lost. I guess the letter was sent to ther Deputy Commandant, Manpower & Reserve Affairs, USMC from the Director, Secretary of the Navy Council of Review Boards. What should I do?????

    Corpsman UP!!!!
Mr. Parker-drilling ANG member-LOD is in process for DX of PTSD /MDD combat related-dual status tech working full time as a GS, Dept Army Civ functionality ranges -miserable to acceptable. is it a possibility of converting my DS to an NDS position- Should I file for VA benefits now, or wait for the IDES process to take its course? I just can't find anything that addresses the DS/NDS and Army/Air stuff...
i recently went in front of the FPEB with a condition for a seizure and a frontotemporal hemorrhage, at least that is what is on my 356. i also have G6PD. on the second page for remarks the underlying condition that they refer to (G6PD) isn't listed on the 356. does it need to be?
I am undergoing an AF MEB for psoriatic arthritis and have been on Humira for about 8 months. My MEB started back in Feb and suppsedly should be returning to me this months. I have been following along on a few similar forums and was just hoping to ask what I should be prepared for with this MEB result. I have only been in just under 4 years. Should I be looking for retirement ratings?
Are you available to retain as a lawyer for an upcoming MEB? I am a grounded Army Aviator and want to make sure that ALL the things that are truly unfitting for my MOS are found unfitting for me by the Army. I don't want to use an Army paid lawyer to review my case. If you are unavailable could you give me your best recommendation. I'm at Ft Drum in the WTU but I suppose the lawyers location is not too relevant.
Maparker, i had to several posts to explain my situation i need help with so if you start 4 posts down it will help fill in the blanks. Thank you a million times over Sir.
PTSD cause was documented TBI from a IED Iraq 04 and watched a Marine burn to death in a 7 ton (3) Med board for cronic fatique because I have documented sleep apnea CPAP given to me, sleep study 41 events in a night. Thats 50% VA. I go in for major right wrist reconstruction next week (10% on a Med Bd so i would go with my knee instead. Anger issues are documented as could hurt anyone at anytime/timebomb.
    1) med board for severe rt knee condromalachia (crushed in combat with proof) most likely 10% severance pay (non taxable and VA checks start right away , no payback to va b/c combat related as i understand?(2) med board for cronic treatment resistant PTSD with 6 years of phyc's notes stating major anger issues/social/work/severe memory impairment, several medications tried over the years.
Here's the bottom line up front. I am trying to figure out what route to go when and if i am med boarded, i do have a choice at this time. I understand the med board only looks at the 1 unfitting condition and then you are out for that and VA looks at everything. I have a choice to make withen a few months
Mr. Parker, first of i wanted to say thanks for being so awesome in the area of PEB knowledge. I have been reading your posts for some time now and decided to become a member. Currently 18 years on active duty, USMC. I will send u a few post i wish i could send it all at one time to your email account. I need your help.
Mr. Parker, I am in need of your assitance. I have AS and in the MEB process. I recieved my NARSUM and it states that I don't have any limited range of motion but pain that the end. I have DDD in all 3 sections of my spine and hips also. I am mainly worried about my DOD rating not being greater that 30%. Can you help me before I sign and move forward with my case.
    Afternoon Maparker,
I have been out of the army since 2005. I have 70%
disability from the VA. I did not know anything about the option to be medically retired. I only have 3.5 years on active duty.

Question: Can someone who was given an honorable discharge for medical reasons be reversed to being medical retired.
