CRSC - Question About Documentation to Present to the Board

Sounds pretty solid, however, understand that the laws for the PEB and VA are DIFFERENT from CRSC. The former, specifically the PEB findings, are specific for non-taxable DOD income and not CRSC (highlighted in RED), what I highlighted in GREEN is probably the most important document as it...

Help with CRSC Estimate and DOD retirement for Board-- PLEASE :)

I agree, however, the USSC only remanded it back to the lower courts since it didn't meet the criteria of the Barring Statute. Things still have to be figured out on how things will be handled, not to mention Soto vs US only pertained to those with less than $10k in debt owed by DOD. Those...

CRSC- any insight from PACT ACT experienced appreciated

There go bring in that term “thinking” into the picture lol. Just poorly worded in the presumptives when they passed it. They don’t think about those who are chapter 61 disability retirees getting out with less than 20 years.

CRSC- any insight from PACT ACT experienced appreciated

Unfortunately that’s how the presumptive for asthma is written by the VA so they take it verbatim

Help with CRSC Estimate and DOD retirement for Board-- PLEASE :)

Which is why I’m not taking my shingle down, but it comes to CRSC lol I was hoping it would put me out of business but knowubt how DOD works that won’t happen for a long long lol

CRSC- any insight from PACT ACT experienced appreciated

Glad to see the Navy does this along with the Army. The only one that screwed with the Veteran is the Air Force and they folded strictly to the line that the asthma has to be diagnosed six months after the veterans out of military, which absolutely stupid individual goes through the IDES process.

Does CRSC look at everything, all VA ratings even the ones you didn’t apply for CRSC?

So, long story short, yes, all VA-rated conditions are permissible to apply for. They will review and potentially approve any condition that is Presumptive, even if one does not put it in as we've discussed before. Not so much for other conditions unless they're obvious like Tinnitus. If...

How to check CRSC packet status for Army

10MB is the max I’ve seen for Army - how big are your attachments ? If 10MB or bigger, you can break up your attachments into multiple emails using Last, First, Last 4, email 1 of …, 2 of …, etc. If ONE attachment is larger than 10MB, PM me and I can work with you to reduce the size of it so...

Help Calculating CSRC Pay (Med Retirement less then 20 yrs)

Close, but no, CRSC is based on length of service, so, it'll be $3987 + $436. Since you only had 6 1/2 years, it's high-36 x 2.0% (due to being under BRS) x 6.5 as you cannot have VA comp + DOD comp, it's one OR the other. Obviously, the VA comp pays you more which takes the DOD 60% completely...

Soto Prevailed Soto v US. No more bogus 6 year CRSC retro pay limit. Supreme Court rules unanimously 9-0 in favor of vets.

Before everyone starts jumping the gun, I suggest folks read Jason Perry's blog about this, the USSC remanded it back to the lower court, yes, it is a huge win in the favor of those who got screwed over by the six-year barring statute, myself included. Significant Win for CRSC retroactive...

    Retro Pay

I try, as you already well know me for ;) lol

    Retro Pay

It can, but the effective date is usually (best case scenario) the day after retirement, which is the effective date of the VA rating, hence why I stated that. The exception is in the case of those who were already rated, i.e., reserve compos, who subsequently went through LDES instead of IDES...
