    Commanders Impact Statement (Air Force)

Remember, its if you're able to complete all duties as an Airman. That includes PT, professional development, training, etc. Make sure you hit on how your mental health effects everything, not just your admin duties.

    Please help

If you believe your referred condition(s) VA rating is incorrect, you could submit a VA One-time Reconsideration Request (“VARR”). But it only applies to your referred condition's rating. If not, then you'll have to wait until you get out.

    AMRO Review

Every MTF's AMRO board is different. Some bases do the review board once per month, some do it once per week. But keep in mind, sometimes things get rescheduled, backed up, etc. So I recommend messaging or calling your PCM once every week or 2 weeks to get a status update. But ultimately, it's...

Medically Retired, SEJ1, RE-3P - Want to reenlist

You were found medically unfit for continued military service due to your condition(s). An entire board was done to come to this conclusion - MEB & PEB. You were placed on the Permanent Disability Retirement List. I'm assuming you were giving an RE4 code. You can always take a shot in the dark...

    CRSC-Calculation request

Based on my math I got about $549 as the max you can receive for CRSC. So aim for 40% or more.

    Timeframe

Maybe I'm in the minority because I've seen people get orders 1-14 days after signing the 1180 form, but it took me a month to get orders from AFPC after I accepted and signed my 1180. I was happy it took mine longer, though.

    Medical Retirement contemplation

I'll let others chime in on the big stuff but I do want to say - I'm not sure if you've factored all this into your equations or not but since youre asking about 100% DOD, just know that the max DOD will payout is 75% of your high 3. Even if you got 80% DOD, 90% DOD or 100% DOD.

    Order?

No, those are your actual retirement orders. Those are the one's you'll use for everything (outprocessing, etc). As your peblo said, those are the "orders you've been waited for". Your orders will only change if your retirement date is changed since you requested an earlier retirement date. I'm...

    Order?

those are your retirement orders. mine was labelled the same in PRDA. from the day my orders showed up, I final outed 15 days later. how many days of leave do you currently have? you also have to factor in how many days you'll earn for june and for july. AFPC also most likely factored in up to...

    Question for CRSC and possibility.

you need your high-3 amount and your dod percentage to calculate an estimate. but I will say that you for sure would not be getting $2k per month. this is a very rough estimate since we need more of your info, but based on your 8 years in service, you'd get between $500-$800 per month if you...

    Fort Jackson timeline, multiple sclerosis

I'm sure and hopeful you'll make it to 20. But just to put it out there so it's known... some processed are faster than others. I was directed to a full MEB by the AF on Dec 20 and received my retirement orders Apr 29. So to be safe, make sure you delay everything.

Timeline Started? Referred To AMRO for Chronic Back Pain

Depends on your base. Each base MTF has different AMRO board/meetings. Some bases have AMRO review boards every 2 weeks, some have them every month, etc. where they review all the current cases to decide if they are returning to duty or preparing to send to MEB stage. Once the AMRO decides...

    Question for CRSC and possibility.

Since you are medically retired and have a VA rating of 10% or more, yes you are eligible to apply for CRSC. What is the amount you receive from the VA monthly? What is your high-3 amount? What is your DOD percentage?

    CRSC Estimate Request

As I always say, I am not an CRSC expert (especially for those over 20 years), so I recommend waiting on one of the gurus to give you a better answer. But with that said, you will be maxed out in compensation. Your DOD retirement should be 4254.00 per month. If you somehow how that you'll be...

    Help for CRSC calculation

I'm not an expert but based on your numbers provided and doing some quick math, the max you will be able to receive for CRSC is roughly $770-$780 per month based on your length in service and pay. You will need to get approved for 40% CRSC (or more) to max out. So you'll get roughly $770-780 per...

    Fort Bliss MEB (Asthma)

I was going to comment make sure you apply for CRSC but seems like you're already on it. Why did you hire a lawyer? Just curious. And did you deploy to one of the presumptive/PACT act locations? Crazy how I was the first comment when you first made this thread and now we're both in the same...

Active Duty AF - Asthma/Back Timeline

Nov 2023 - Officially diagnosed with moderate persistent asthma by off base provider. Jan 2024 - PCM caught the diagnosis and told me this is a 'boardable' condition. Had to complete several PFTs. Also have been on a code 31 profile for my lower back for 2/3 years. (Nov 2023 - Jun 2024 - placed...

    DD2860 Help

I will be following this thread since I will be in the same boat. Deployed a few times to the qualifying locations. I just completed the PEB stage and got my proposed ratings - now awaiting retirement orders. Received 100% for asthma (my referred condition), 50% for sleep apnea and 10% for...
