CRSC increase but no change in $

Greetings. Glad to see this forum is still alive and well! After 3 years, my CRSC just got bumped from 70 to 90. I was hopeful that I’d see a monetary change with this, but my latest statement has the same exact amount with the 90 percent showing. Does this mean that I was already maxed out...

    PDRL Order

I was TDRL effective 26 April 2018, and just received my envelope for PDRL which was effective on 22 November 2019. My question is on the order itself. Anyone else’s PDRL order say “Not applicable” for lines such as Disabikity Retirement, Basic Pay, Significant Awards, Completed over 4...

CRSC Approved at 3 Months - Army

I just found my CRSC approval letter in my HRC record online. Letter was dated 18 October 2018. Original application submitted on 17 July 2018. I hope that this is a new trend for others as this was exactly 3 months for approval on first try. I did have my AW2 rep inquire with HRC, but he...

    Need Help with CRSC

Army having way more claims is a given. IMO the Army should have hired more people or figured it out by now after years of knowing this. 12-15 months is unacceptable when you know it would take a trained person a couple hours to research the packet for a determination. Just my opinion. If...

    Retirement Pay

Anyone have experience with DFAS cutting you your first retirement check before processing the VA waiver? How does the money get paid back? Assuming I have to? I was Ch 61 retired on 25 April with 15 years Active Years so CRDP is not an option. DFAS says I am getting paid on 1 July back pay...

    Less than 15 years

Ron, So as a ch 61 retiree who had just over 15 years AD when I retired, would I have had to be offered TERA to get CRDP or would I simply be considered “qualified for another type of retirement at the time of my ch 61 retirement?” Because I have wondered this from day one but was counting on...

    Application question

I 100% understand that the army will decide if I am entitled or not. My question is whether or not I need to prove that I am waiving retired pay in the application. Thanks for the reply regardless it’s very much appreciated as always.

    Application question

So I have my ratings which are 80 DOD, 100 VA. According to the VA ratings, 70% is combat related. My 199 and retirement order also state combat related. Because I retired medically with about 15 years active duty I am applying for CRSC. My question is whether or not I need to prove that my...

Denied SSDI because i'm on AD still.

Update: I went in for an appeal which was scheduled on 11 January. Of course I prepared all my evidence according to the SSA POMS DI 10505.023 and SSR 84-24. He said he didn’t need to see that and I was there for 5 mins and left with a Form SSA-3033 to take to my supervisor (readiness NCO on...

Denied SSDI because i'm on AD still.

thanks. i am happy to hear some were approved while on AD. I was more concerned with how they didn't even entertain it to begin with. I am all for them doing their diligence to decide whether or not it meets the criteria, as long as they give it a chance. thanks again!
