I was told the IPEB and VA are behind on completing ratings. Instead of 2 weeks, expect 4-5 weeks. Im on day 22 and hopeful that it'll be done sometime this month, "hope for the best but expect the worst".

Anyone have a similar timeline?
 
I complete my last QTC appointment tomorrow. Hopefully it goes quickly. Ive been seeing like a 1 to 2 week wait for VA ratings too so idk.
 
Mine was submitted 9 Feb and was also told they were behind, but to expect 3-4 weeks. Not really sure who/what to believe but I’m hoping you get your results soon. Seems to me the average on this site has been around 20 days.

I have similar dates to yours, my QTC exam results were provided to me on 1 Feb 22. My PEBLO still has not sent me my 618, however. Thanks for sharing your timeline. It helps me set realistic expectations.

I'll put out there that my PEBLO submitted my package to AFPC on 20JAN and I still haven't received my ratings. The last thing I had was an update that my claims were in the preparation for decision phase as of 07FEB.
 
If you search other timelines on this forum "Hassan Lee" was the last one to get results. They received AFPC email confirming receipt on 14 Jan and got results 8 Feb so 26 days. Can't imagine it's gotten too much more backlogged since then.

14 Feb - Called PEBLO, was told my package was submitted from the IPEB to the VA for ratings.
02 Mar - Notified of VA ratings/called the VA and received 100% proposed ratings.
07 Mar - PEBLO notified of ratings 90% DoD/100% VA, TDRL for mental health. Signed the AF 1180, agreed with ratings.
TBD - Orders

I already had a good amount of leave saved, and the squadron allowed another 20 days for permissive TDY leave. Hoping to get order within the next week.

I am curious as well to see how far out your retirement date is. It seems to vary on each individual case.
 
Congrats and hopefully you got the result you wanted. I signed my 1180 today too, requested DOS of 28 Apr 22 so I guess we’ll see who gets orders first.

Just got notified of full MEB last week. They sent me an email with forms of IDES and LDES programs. Wish me luck

Haha, no. I saved up about 90 days of leave. 20 days for permissive TDY and 51 days for terminal leave. It adds up to my DOS, with roughly 31 days I'll be selling back to the Air Force (not by choice).

Yeah, im chilling on 70 days of leave right now. That's why I have been asking around trying to see about how long they push your retirement/separation date after you get your orders because I kinda wanna burn some of this leave.
 
My main concern is that I am unsure how much I will receive since I am TDRL under 10 years time in service. I've been told that I will only be able to receive DoD retirement while on TDRL and not VA compensation. I am 100% VA and 90% DoD. Anyone know the answer as to whether or not you can get one or the other while on TDRL under 20 years?

From my research I believe you are given whichever pays out more. In this case it ought to be the 100% VA.
