Another update...

I called the VA on Friday and found out they sent their ratings to the PEB last Tuesday. Friday was two weeks after being found unfit for duty. I am hoping that sometime this week, I get the call from PEBLO with my ratings...and then my orders come fast so I can clear and get out of the Army.

I am being rated on 4 items for the Army and 9 for the VA...they are:
Lumbar
Thoracic
Cervical spine
Arthritis right shoulder

VA
Bi polar disorder
Insomnia
Prostate
Left Ankle
and another Insomnia

Hopefully it won't be much longer...I just keep praying the ratings are favorable!!

How, or should I ask, where did you call to find that info out? Do you have a number that I can call to find out the same information about my claim? My PEBLO is consistantly telling me that she does not know what the status of my claim or my PEB is. It has been 4 months and a week since my package went to the PEB.

Got called last thursday...my orders were in, I was on a 4 day pass so I am heading out to go pick them up today...Got my orders in a day and a half...really fast!!1

Did they rate you on Range of Motion for your spine? Would you mind sharing (how they rated and for what) the results for the spine rating... thanks

Yeah...I got 40% for my prostate and my VA rep is applying for another 20% because it hurts to ejaculate, 20% for the neck and upper spine, 10% lower spine, 10% depression, 10% right ankle and 10% right shoulder...with the way the figure on the downward scale is equals 80%...I get reviewed for depression in 2 years and the rest wasn't in the paperwork...they do rate range of motion which was all not normal but not extremely bad...

Hey, sorry I missed this, Congratulations!!

Congrats!!!!

Is this the DES Pilot? Since he got rated on multiple things at the PEB?

yes, I was in the des pilot program since nov 17, 2009....I am retired as of may 3, 2010...it was long but in the end, worth it, no matter how messed up things can get and the growing pains of the program, you get treated faster while in uniform then as a civilian.

I can also say this too, this site provides alot of insight if you ask and research...I have seen too many fellow soldiers before me not understand or not care about what happens, trust me when I say that everyone, no matter of age, race or education, needs to inform themselves of everything you may be entitled to or want...I would have left alot of the table if I wasn't informed.

Thank you for sharing your break out (rating) for the spine. I also agree, this site is great and it was dumb luck I found it. I have shared it with everyone I know, info is power...

was that 800 number just for the Army or do you know if there is one for the Navy too?
