Hello, I should receive my proposed ratings very soon and I am preparing for my DOD rating to either be a 80% or 90%. I would like help comparing these two ratings in a CSRC calculation to determine if it's worth fighting for a higher rating while I am still in or if it does not make a difference. Is their other scenarios besides CSRC I am not thinking of that these ratings make a difference? Rating in question is DOD MEB referred PTSD (50% or 70%) and Migraines (50%). As always, very appreciative of the help!
Scenario 1.
1. High 3 Pay: $4562
2. My DoD disability rating is 80%
3. 13.5
4. $4337 (includes everything) - 100% VA, SMC-K, Married w/ 1 child under 18
5. Expecting approval of 50% PTSD after MEB. Would my referred 50% Migraines fall into this as well?
6. I don’t qualify for any other retirement.
