DoD Rating Higher than VA

My question is:
If was on TDRL and after my reevaluation I was placed on PDRL (70% DoD.)

Currently I'm 100% VA Scheduler. What happens if the VA does a reevaluation couple of years later and lower my rating to 60 or 50%. I've waived my DoD payment since the VA was higher.
What can I do if the DoD is higher than VA in the future?

Thank you!

I'm in the same boat. DoD is at 30%, and va 20%.
I don't really care anymore as I'm getting out.

You would receive the DoD amount, reduced by the VA amount (tax free), and the remainder from the DoD as taxable retirement pay.

Ex. DoD = $1000 and VA compensation = $600. You would receive $600 from the VA (non-taxed) and $400 from DoD taxed.

Would this be true if the DoD rated the same condition at 50% PDRL and the VA rated the same exact condition at say 30% down the road? Is that possible?

Your DOD rating won't change,if your VA rating changes then your compensation will change accordingly.

Understood, I just didn't know if the VA had to honor my permanent DoD rating at the same percentage.
