Dual Action Timeline

Hi, dual action case here.
My MEB was initiated 20 APR 2020 and my chapter was initiated in JUL 2020. My MEB was started for PTSD due to MST and my chapter was for use of illegal substances (yes i know i did bad things keep your lecture to yourself). I finished all my VA C&P appts in Sep 2020 and all things for my chapter in Dec 2020. I was finally contacted by a lawyer who was in charge of my dual action case to write my statement for the CG in APR 2021. My decision from the CG was just returned last week 5 JUL 2021 with the decision to proceed with the MEB and I am now finally after 15 months in the PEB phase.
 
Was there a question about IDES? Or are you informing people on the situation to spread the word with similar cases?
 
Wow, I'm surprised they actually allowed you to continue with your MEB. Good on that CG to allow you to continue your process and not try and make an example out of someone who is obviously going through medical issues.

I am incredibly thankful, i was really down because i assumed due to the nature of the misconduct i would get the chapter for sure
 
I am in the same boat. I started my MEB in December of 2020 I was arrested in January. Chain of command said it was gonna be a dual for chapter and the MEB I went to court twice on the civilian side once in April and the next in June. I was cleared of the charges. I received my ratings just last week and just recently found out my the army is till pursing me for the arrest. I told my PEBLO that I wanted to waive my 90 days to get out on my original ETS date. Still haven’t heard anything from the PEB board on if they will allow it or not. Right now I’m looking at a field grade.

What happened with your case, mine is just company njp and bcp
