I'm new to this forum. I've looked around a bit the past few weeks. My package was sent to the IPEB 28 September. At the time my PEBLO told me that the average turnaround time for Air Force to get ratings back was 45 days. I called her today and she told me the VA and the IPEB are wayyyyy backed up and the average turn around time is 90 days. She also said that the cases get assigned by last 4 of social and some drs have a few cases and others have a bunch. She said I could find out the ratings next week or 4 months from now.
It's so hard being patient. I've been in the MEB process for a year and a half. I got pregnant right after I was coded for an MEB and my MEB was put on hold due to my pregnancy affecting me taking my C and P exams. I wanted to get out with my pregnancy so I could be home with my baby but as many of you know you can't get out when undergoing an MEB.
I'm also stationed in Germany and haven't been able to go to the states at all during this year and a half MEB process. My mom has immigration issues, can't obtain a passport and can't visit her first grandbaby.
Just emotional over all of this and my husband is deployed. I used to be a star performer at work and due to my medical conditions/profile I feel useless. Just want out so I can be with my baby and start the next chapter of my life.
Anyways the whole reason for this post was to give anyone a heads up on the IPEB and VA being backed up.
Anyone have their ratings come back yet ?
