Anyone in the Virginia Beach, Portsmouth, or Norfolk area currently in the PEB phase. I was found unfit 23OCT24 and trying to gauge a timeline for the VA to send my findings. Been seeing 60-85 day turnaround from other branches and locations here on this forum. Please share or drop some knowledge/timelines if willing. Thanks.

I didn’t think to ask. I thought the index message goes from the PEB to PERS only and once PERS receives it, they generate your OIX message. When I reached out to PERS the same day(Friday) they told me they haven’t received it yet but my command gets a copy of the index. When I talked to my admin they looked at me crazy and said they never heard of an index. So I’m not sure how the index was sent but PERS hasn’t received it.he give you any sort of time line???

I called Jeff last Thursday, and he said that my case would be indexed either on friday or monday.
I am guessing it will happen sometime today. Ms. Jones, who is in charge of indexing, has not pushed many people since the beginning of Feb. Hopefully today we get some word.

Just got a response from PERS, " We received an Index with your name on it yesterday. You should have your separation authorization message in traffic in the next day or two."

"The date in the message for your separation will be somewhere in the 35-70 day range, usually around 45ish days or so. I would think you’d be out of the Navy by the end of April, but you’ll have to see what the message says."
