Hey everyone
I am going to post my timeline. Mostly, because its these forums, REALLY have given me a lot of hope and a place to vent and get info. Everyone is going through it and I am happy to hear that some people are successful, very sad to see other stories that are not. Also the information or heads up on how the process completely blows.

1st LIMDU: April 24
2nd LIMDU & Referred to MEB: Oct 4th
Signed paperwork requesting duty preference: Oct 10

"Was told" should hear back from MEB to see if I am unfit or fit for duty in 15 business days so that I am able to get orders back to the states. I know this is probably not true, but i have learned that MEB/PEB process does not start for USMC while overseas. You are referred to the OIDES once you get word back saying you are unfit or warranted or recommended for a PEB/MEB then you should receive orders. Only to have to restart the entire MEB/PEB process once you get back stateside. I am praying everyday checking MOL (marine online) twice a day just to get orders. I just want to at least get the orders back to the states so my family and I can try to piece together what is required of us and the next move.

ANYONE on here have ANY information on how long it takes for orders to populate for USMC overseas?
Best wishes to all
Warmly

I was OIDES. You are not on a PEB until you get stateside. Once my paperwork to be recommended for a PEB went through in January I had orders for Camp Lejeune a few days later with a NLT March 31. It was fast. Once you get to the states you basically start all over. You have to see the med board doc to determine if you actually go on med board, if they think you do then you go through the process of getting a PEBLO and lawyer then you make your VA claims and get your VA appointments, then you get your NMA from your command and the med board docs NARSUM and then that all goes up to DC and then you wait on the fit/unfit decision and ratings.

Where are you trying to PCS to? If you are wanting Camp Lejeune then PM me and i can get you in touch with the right people over here to make your PCS smoother.

Just waiting on the orders now I guess praying to get back to the states before Christmas time. Thank you for the info I messaged you.
