Almost 4 years time served in the Navy, out for PTSD/MDD September of 2011 50% DoD/70% VA with other non-unfitting disabilities (wrist issue, back issue). Final evaluation at MTF was August 9th (my 30th bday)... My PEBLO hasn't given any updates 63 days on with three requests by me other than she would email them to see where my case is (heard nothing)... I had to seek out that reevaluation as I never had a single one over the five years other than in 2011.
During the past five years I have been on a few meds consistently, fairly regular therapy, a few multi-month groups, and working part time. I was told by a VA rep when trying to schedule my reevaluation (because no one else was apparently going to do it...) that the VA has my rating labeled 'static', any info on that meaning or if that weighs on the PEB's decision would be appreciated.
If anyone can help me out in understanding what happens after being dropped at five year mark while in PEB process that would be great. I already know I am now w/o healthcare coverage for my wife and me while we wait, possibly permanently... I am on the phone with the VA right now and she is telling me she doesn't have any information on me at all for the current process... Not sure if she really knows what I am asking because she said the VA has nothing to do with TDRL and told me to contact my PEBLO... Event though I repeatedly said she isn't responding to my questions.
I tried the Navy PEB number, my PEBLO's number and neither respond. I guess I will keep trying to contact them and see if anything changes. I have been trying to be patient, but with some talking about huge waits and the loss of insurance, I feel I have to start pushing buttons if anything is ever going to happen. I was told at my reevaluation by the TDRL coordinator in Great Lakes that I might have my case expedited because at that time my 5 year mark was only about 5 weeks away. I messaged her today to ask about that again, I will report back as time goes on. I've been lurking here for a while seeking answers and have still come up short with my specific circumstances, any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you all!
