Social Security If Disabled

Yes. If you are unable to work, this is something you should look into.

I am in the process of filing for SSD a the moment. Everyone should check out this link:

Disability Benefits for Wounded Warriors website

The SSA has an expidited process for these claims. They seems to be moving faster than the DOD, VA, or OPM for all the disability process that I am involved in at the moment. If anyone is interested in anything specific to any of these programs, I'd be happy to help.

i am also in the process. it's been very easy up to this point. although i do hear the horror stories about the system. i imagine it's no worse than fighting w/the DOD or the VA. i had my phobne interview the other day and they sent me a packet for consent to release med. records. i will keep you guys updated.

So what this says is that even though im am Active Duty and still in, I can file for SSD? I know I'm getting out so.... And from what I'm told I should be retired. Also have two letters stating that they have done all that is possible to find a job for me but I'm unemployable.
