Simple answer- if your case was reevaluated after the three-year mark, you may have slipped through the cracks, and the adjudicators are working to get you reinstated and then change your status. However, you would not be "told" your results, nor are there reasons to keep someone on the TDRL after three years since all of the five-year legacy TDRL cases would have been finalized by 31 Dec 21. Since you wrote that you were Navy, the process is simple- you would receive initial TDRL review findings by email nowadays directly from Tonjua Howard - the TDRL Coordinator at the Navy Yard. I would suggest that you email her on Monday at
[email protected] Note- I know this to be the case because I have been representing TDRL clients for years in this system - by way of example, in early May of this year, Tonjua emailed several clients their TDRL findings for us to either accept or appeal. The email always contains a findings letter with an Election of Options and a copy of your TDRL exam. Thus, you should write to her by email on Monday to ascertain your actual status.
