Told outcome before FPEB

10% DOD and 90% VA. IPEB said unfit back in August. Requested FPEB. Today was my FPEB and I was speaking with my attorney before the hearing actually began and the board told my attorney that they would affirm that I am FIT for duty now. So I didn’t take the gamble and waived the hearing and accepted IPEBs finding and signed DA 199. Feel like I just waisted 6 months waiting for this FPEB. Just to be told right before it began that I’d be found fit. Is this common?

Yes it is although you could’ve done an informal board. I would like to ask what evidence you used to show fit for duty as I’m doing the same thing
