Hello all,
I have just started the IDES process and am looking for some feedback on potential outcomes. I experienced a MST event early in my career. I’ve been seeing psychiatrists, psychologists, and have completed an intensive outpatient 2 week program. I am still able to perform my job on the administrative aspect (Hospital Corpsman) due to my high dosage of meds helping me keep it together.
My question is: If my life is an absolute mess outside of work and I constantly have tremors and have been to the ER for panic attacks, will I likely be found fit?
Separating from the service will help me get recover I feel - putting on the uniform is a trigger. My legal counsel is iffy on which way it could go. She (counsel) agrees I should be unfit, but says the PEB May see that my ability to still do my job, be my crutch.
Has anyone else experienced the PEB with a referring condition of unspecified anxiety?
thank you.
