Member Ku'uipolani, Forums/AGR Title 32 Issues/Thank you for starting this new post for AGR.
sir good afternoon. wondering if you can give me some objective advice on whether it's value added to fight my most recent meb or let the process run it's course? (per my post yesterday).i understand from other threads on the condition (a.spondylitis) you're an experienced point of contact/ subject matter expert on it. i'm interested/looking forward to your response and again thank you kindly for your help!
Question is there any help out there to appeal the DOD PBDR rating. They didn't follow congressional guidelines.
Sir, you wouldn't happen to have an example of what an appeal to the AFBCMR would look like by chance would you?

I have several issues that were unfitting that were rated by the VA prior to discharge, and I was discharged 10% with severance for the same condition that the VA rated as 70%. I was on the legacy MEB program and I was the last case at Beale AFB before they went to the IDES.

Mike, where can I find the paper Snap03 referred to in the "Unfit just because I'm a pilot" thred?
Sir, I have a question concerning non-medical assessment. 18 years AD in the Navy and I'm in no way looking to be found "unfit" at MEB. My command didn't fill out the NMA correctly and never even talked to me before submitting it. Which I thought was odd because I'm on recruiting and maybe have talked to my CO 3 times in 1 year. I have no history of misconduct. Is there a way to dispute what was put in NMA?
Sir, new to forum and wishing I had found you guys earlier. My problem is that I was given incorrect information from my PEBLO and as such signed my 199. Now I find that because my PTSD as well as several other issues were determined to be " unfitting". Also my PEBLO has told me I have no recourse regarding the "deferred" issues. Am I up the proverbial creek or is there something I can do?
Today is my 288th since my VA 21-0819 was signed. I still don't have proposed ratings due to AFPC taking 119 days to find me unfit and then my unfit was sent to the VA on 10 Sep13 to Providence. This has been such an bad experience that I once thought I would challenge my IPEB findings but as of now I just want my AF Form 356 and don't care what I get. What can I do? I am just ready to be finished with it all.
peb started aug 16, 7 years sgt usmc. I have an issue with my command and the Non Medical Assesment paperwork. It has been over a month and should be at CO sometime. looking for info on how to handle this situation. they are also pushing for a bcp assignment. than you for the help.
Mike, Can VA Caregiver benefits be taken away without due process of law? The VA is sending notices either taking away or reducing benefits without so much as a physical examination. I'm 100% P&T SMC with Aid & Attendance and ours has been reduced by 75% effective immediately although we can appeal. The ramifications are causing our heads to spin.
My FPEB is next week. The IPEB rated me PFIT because my reserve retirement request was in a "pending approval status." I conducted research which confirmed that I had not received an approved retirement date. Does that mean that my PFIT was rendered in error? If so, will the FPEB overturn that decision and render me UNFIT?
I was put on, and discharged from AD 07/29/2013. (IDES, Med Ret Army @ 40% and VA proposed rating was 70%). My question is regarding with employment (wife and 3 teens) So far, what I have been able to find (employment wise) are jobs related to my field of expertise (aircraft maintenance, flight engineer, technical inspector)...
Mike 3rd part...I did not give retirement points as I believe it is irrelevent to the crsc or crdp.
I have heard so many different things I am confused. Can you give me a figure based on the info here?
Thx for all you do n u have been a big help through all of this.
Mike, 2nd part..I have not applied for SSDI but intend to n hopefully will not change the VA and DOD numbers.
Here goes. I'm currently drawing Va pay of $2916 for P&T IU. I have earned through 21 years guard retirement of $750 I normally would receive at age 60 if not for the medical retirement. The peb 75% med retirement equates to $2685.
Mike, I posted u a message on VBN as well in case u dont check either for a while. The post on crdp/ crsc is just too much for me to figure. The numbers I keep getting couldn't be correct. It is more than $4000. My peblo doesnt help me. I was just medically retired 75% all conditions combat related by peb. NG with 20 yr letter. I qualify for both crsc and crdp. Whichever is more beneficial the better.
Hello Sir, I was placed on the TDRL with an effective date of 13Jun12 after 18yrs 1mo of active service with a combined rating of 90%. Can I request TERA now and still draw my VA payments? And severe PTSD was the factor that led to my retirement, is there any way to try to come back in and finish out my time to 20? Thanks and any assistance or advice would be appreciated
Hello sir, I have a couple of questions 1. I was placed on the TDRL with an effective date of 13Jun12. I was also rated by VA and the Army at a total of 90%. Can I request TERA being that I'm on the TDRL and with 18yrs 1mo of active service, and 2. The condition that made me unfit was severe PTSD. What are my chances of coming back into the Army to finish out my 20 years? Any advice or assistance would be appreciated
Hello Sir, I'm full time Active Guard Reserve in Mississippi and going through the MEB process. I've just received my NARSUM from a doctor at Keesler AFB. I was wondering if you would look at it for me and give me your opinion on what may be the outcome as far as the DoD side ratings? Is there somewhere else I can send it to so that you can review it? Thanks so much.
