To refresh I am a CPT in the ARNG. I have 20 years April 23rd. I have been rated 50% PTSD (can be reviewed), 20% cervical and 10% back=60. My annual physical is in August. I will give them my info then regarding ratings. I don't believe I can perform PT test. Should I request a PEB, if so when? Can I be retained in a drilling status? Can I be discharged without a disability discharge?

I went through MEB/PEB process and I was found unfit for duty and I decided to get out. I have 2 months left before separation. But realized that I want to stay in army. Is it still possible to appeal? Please reply soon thank you so much

I'm just recently went to an MMRB this week, they reccomended me to MEB/PEB, my situation, I have two permanent 3 profiles, one for my left wrist, (TFCC) repair, and one for my Right knee (ACL Reconstruction, Meniscus Repair, Partial PCL tear which was not repaired), these are the two reasons for going to MEB/PEB, however I also have High Blood Pressure, and Shoulder problems, I just finally documented the shoulder problems yesterday and had x-rays, also will be meeting with a counslor about PTSD I guess. I'm an 11B3O in the Army (Infantryman), I'm guessing there not going to find me fit for duty, but when I go thru the MEB process, are they going to take into account my shoulders, high blood pressure also, and possible mild PTSD.

I have just recently been diagnosed with crohns disease, i also have extreme sleep apnea, hypothyroid disease,
and degenerative lumbar disk. Also moderit depression that is in remission. have been in 20 years time in service 10 of them acive
duty. I know what the Va ratings are but i cant find the PEB discresionary rate table for these, I am AD in the ANG.

if u can give me an idea more or less about the rate of my case, have fusion C6 C7 neck, my only prob is pain in neck and sholders, pain only can be a reason for seperation? and iam asking of how long it take to be seperat coz iam reserve and my order will be done in 3 month, if it will take to long i will handel my pain till the end of my order, coz i cant be far from my family anymore they need my help.waiting all your advice.

Hello, Jason. I've been on here for some time but back for new information. I had my surgery about a month ago and just had my post op appt., which now I will be having a revision in the coming weeks. I am currently on my 2ndLiMDU and a 3rd LIMDU is being requested. At this point, I am working on quality of life with my back issues L5/S1 fusion. Can you offer any advice or insight on how I should handle the next six months?

did fusion surgery 2 month ago, still having pain.Is that a case to be separet or discharge ? if yes what more or less will be my rate? and how long it takes minimum to be separet? thx for your time...

My question deals with the difference in the retirement. I have a LOD, service connected, injuried while on active duty during OIF/OEF, have gone before the board, got 80% rating. have 24 years toward retirement..I was a reservist who happen not to have the full 7200 point ..I qualify to recieve retirement now..but how will it be calculated off of the points I do have?

I just ran across an article on military.com about a non-profit group helping disabled vets with anything they can. The article link is Vets Find Safety Net Online and the group website is http://www.usatogether.org This looks like a good group that is wanting to help anyone it can......and the funny part is that they are lacking the most important thing.......disabled veterans needing help. I was just on the phone with them and told them that I will get the word out as much as I can to disabled vets to visit the site.

Jason how is it going, I'm an E/6 in the navy with 19yrs in I have had 2 limdu's and currently on a PEB for severe complicated Hemipeligic Migraines, the migraines started back in 2001. I have been medivac of the ship twice since, and I have at least 40-45 documented entries in my medical record. I have been on all type of medications since then from beta blockers to triptans and I always been on a treatment plan which I have followed. My condition consist of severe migraines with left facial drop, left side weakness and blurred vision this last for about a week at a time it's like I'm having a stroke. In DEC 08 I was medivac of the ship again and my neuro said that is enough you have 19 years so your safe. I had my VA appointment over three weeks ago and they have not fowarded my results to my peblo yet should that be a concern and what if any do you think I will be rated at from past knowledge.

I am having a really hard time understanding this whole MEB/IPEB/TDRL/etc. etc.... I have a ton of questions I hope you can clear up for me. In short, I have just recieved notice that the Air Force is placing me on the TDRL (rated at 50%, combat related PTSD). I would like to stay active duty but I was affraid of losing the rating they gave me, since my doctor and commander both wrote in my MEB package to retain me. So I accepted their findings. Right now, I am lost.... I have so many worries and thoughts running through my head I can't even figure out what questions to ask first. Can you please help me understand what to expect next? My main worry is my income.... I've been in the AF 10 years and I'm an E-5. Hope you can help clear my head a bit.

Everything's great here! Nothing new though, just waiting around for paperwork, retirement orders and DD214. I'm actually killing time looking at apartments in different states. It looks like Fort Worth may be the place for me to finish up college. Holy crap I had no idea it was that cheap to live in Texas! It's like 1/3 of what it is here.

Have you been in your new home a full year? It must be close.

I am National Guard. I have been on orders since August 2004. Went to Iraq 2005-2006, came home and volunteered to stay on title 10 for operation warrior trainer (training deploying guardsmen). My orders are ending and my guard unit is about to redeploy. While clearing, I was sent to the TMC for a consult due to the fact since returning from Iraq in 06 I have had 4 seizures. The last being just 4 months ago. I have been seeing a neuroligist and the only thing he can come up with is that I received some type of head wound during my tour (I never lost cons.). Anyway the Dr at the TMC said it looks like they are going to have to send me to fort gordon for a peb and/or an mmrb I know little about either. I have 19 years in the guard and like I stated earlier, have been on orders for the past 5 years. If Gordon is my only option, as it may be, what can I expect? Is a medical retirement possible? What are the possible outcomes of this?

Jason met with a service officer the other day and going to see if we can get a waiver form so we don't have to pay back the money that the army paid us while the VA was....Just lost at words of how he is still tech. in the army on TDRL but won't pay him....

Hi, Jason. I am currently AD Coast Guard diagnosed with Focal-Truncal Dystonia. It is a neuro-muscular disorder, but I didn't see it in the ratings list. How would my disorder be classified, so I can figure out a disability amount? Thank you, George.

jason i have been asking my unit for a MEB, to make a long story short i checked my e-mail to at work and i have discharge orders NGR 600-200 format 510, i do have a VA rating of 60%, but can they do this i never got a MEB,
