I hope it's around 14 working days. Sooner would be nice but know that's doubtful. Also, really hoping orders do not take month.

I completely understand why you say that. Then again everyone he knows that's being medically discharged are getting their 199 back fast. Never hurts to hope and I have plenty of hope. But if it doesn't happen, no big deal. He'll still be receiving a paycheck so no worries.

I knew about the 180 days of tricare if you are medically separated. I was just puzzled about what they said. There is probably more to it then what he is letting her know. He doesn't like to tell her things. I was just wondering if it was possible.

I have a friend who's husband was medically separated back in August. The army gave him no rating, while the VA gave him a total rating of 80% for I believe 3 conditions. He only had 1 unfitting condition and was in a total of 3 years . They will still receive insurance from the military though...
